The integrity of our ROAR product range
The team at ROAR believe in goodness in every bowl. So we choose our chicken, fish, heart and tripe from trusted suppliers. We also include in our mixes 100% natural ingredients for a healthier digestive system, meats and produce high in Omegas 3, 6 and 9 for healthier skin and coats and antioxidant rich superfoods for increased vitality. And then we put it all to the taste test! Beema and Ace, two of our beloved German Shepherds have tasted, chewed and sampled each of our mixes and given them their paw of approval. It’s important your pets enjoy their mealtimes as well as getting all the healthy benefits. Thanks to Beema and Ace we’re sure they will!
The benefits of a natural, raw pet food diet
Raw feeding isn’t new and it isn’t a trend. Pets have been enjoying a raw food diet since the dawn of time. With the introduction of dry pet foods many pet owners have opted for the processed, dry, store-bought option. At ROAR we believe there is a better way. There’s a wealth of research that has been done on the benefits of raw pet food with healthier, shinier coats, increased vitality, cleaner teeth, a stronger immune system and smaller stools just some of them.

Directions for use
When you choose from our product range your ROAR pet food will arrive ready for your pets to enjoy. Full instructions are included on the packaging and when it leaves us it’s nothing but pure, raw, freshness that has been frozen and is ready for your pets to devour. All ROAR mixes should be stored in the freezer and, when ready to be used, defrosted in the fridge. Once opened, we recommend that it is consumed within 3 days. Your ROAR mixes will come in our handy re-sealable containers that can be stored in the refrigerator for clean ease of use. Of course, ROAR mixes are not intended for human consumption.
Feeding instructions
We always recommend, for the healthiest pets, that ROAR should be fed as part of an assorted diet. In fact, if you select from across our range of delicious mixes you’ll find most of what your pet needs in ROAR. Each of our mixes have been blended to provide specific medicinal benefits.
We recommend feeding your pet 3% of their expected adult weight.
And, of course, in the interests of good hygiene, don’t forget to wash hands and surfaces with soap and hot water before and after feeding.
Transitioning your pet to raw food
If your pet has been on a dry diet we recommend transitioning them across gently so that their digestive systems have the time to adapt. For most dogs we recommend a 1-2 week transition period:
Day 1:
Use the new raw food as a treat. Keep an eye on the condition of your dog’s stool.
Day 2–4:
Increase the number of raw food treats over the next several days. Continue to monitor stools.
Day 5:
If the stool is normal, replace one whole meal of old food with the new food.
Day 5–7:
Do this for several more days. If the stools remain normal, stop the old food and feed the new food permanently.

What our customers and pet lovers say about our product range
"My Bull Mastiff Girls, Hunny (a very fussy eater) & Bailey, absolutely love the foods, especially the new 'Summer Mix' and as owners we are happy in the fact that our dogs are getting the vitamins & nutrients etc they require!" Very happy BM's & owners.
Kelly, Tauranga
"Kim and the Team are great. Our German Shepherd absolutely loves his food, he looks and feels great and having it delivered straight to my door is amazing."
Jordan, Auckland
"We've noticed such a difference in the general wellbeing of our boys, Cash the Bull Mastiff and Byron the German Shephard, since feeding them your Food. In particular they have both maintained good weight for their breed as well as looking the picture of health and having far more energy and alertness than any biscuit based diet we have feed them before. And most importantly our dog love their dinner!"
Cahn & Danielle, Tauranga
